Oh the frustrations and angst on this path can be challenging.
I wanted to give up approximately 4,678 times during my own journey.
I am so so so glad I didn’t.
Why?
Because this IS the path that gives you want you truly want: freedom.
In honor of the 100th episode I’m talking about my 6 biggest takeaways to help keep you inspired, “motivated“, and moving forward on this path 🙂
Let’s dive in!
(PS-I’d love to hear which one you resonate with OR what your own biggest lesson has been so far).
Topical and timely. Helpful to any of us who uses food to deal with any form of stress, but especially now when fear of covid-19, restrictions in lockdowns, and uncertainty about the future add to the usual tensions of the festive season. Jenn talks “to” rather than “at” her audience which helps to make me feel she is speaking to me personally and her non-prescriptive approach is enormously encouraging. Those of us who struggle with body image and overeating need to have the balloons of incorrect and misleading claims of the diet industry punctured on a regular basis and this Jenn does with common sense and understanding. “How this works in real life” sums up the whole approach that Jenn takes not only in this podcast but in all her efforts to help people with their food demons. The 6 lessons described here are learned from her personal experience which underlines her friendly, non-challenging approach. Congratulations, Jenn, on the 100th podcast and on all the other things you do to help women in their everyday lives.
The idea of thinking/concentrating on other things Instead of food/diet will be something I will start with. I recognise everything you are saying. I like the idea that this is a journey and will probably not be achieved right away but that’s ok. I have only just discovered you &!this is the first podcast I have ever listened to. It has given me hope , Thankyou.
You are so welcome 🙂 Glad to have you here!
