For the millions of women who battle eating issues, body image is a huge part of the daily struggle.
It can be terrifying to be in a relationship or to even think about intimacy when you absolutely hate what you see in the mirror.
Enter today’s guest who is talkin’ all things sex and body image.
Dr. Lily Zehner is a therapist who specializes in sex, intimacy, and relationships. And she’s battled her own eating disorder, so has some amazing tips to share from her own experience.
We dive into some very taboo subjects (and quite frankly, more women NEED to be having these conversations!)
Today’s episode includes:
-The biggest thing you need to do to feel more confident in your body
-What self-pleasuring really means (and you to bring more of it into your life)
-What to do when you just can’t find anything positive about your body (and who you can pull in to be your biggest cheerleader!)
-How you can move forward in an intimate relationship when you’re terrified of being seen naked
-The one simple practice that can completely shift your mindset around intimacy
