Do You Struggle with Emotional Eating?
- Do you feel like if you donât control your food and emotions, youâll end up gaining weight and spiralling out of control?
- Are you just plain exhausted from the âtryingâ (trying to deal with emotions and figure out HOW to actually feel something (so you donât eat over it!)?
- Do you swear you KNOW what to do (donât eat because then you hate yourself after!), but actually being able to STOP turning to cookies and candy for comfort feels impossible?
- Can you maybe handle one emotion (or you have a day where it âsticksâ) but canât seem to not emotionally eat long term (which makes you feel like a failure)?
I Know How Hard It Is to Stop Emotional Eating
I used to think that food was the only thing I could depend on.
It was my go-to coping mechanism when I had to deal with anything.
A bad breakup? Bust out the ice cream.
Stretches of loneliness that seemed to last forever? Get out the jar of peanut butter.
Anxiety about moving to a new city? Hand already in the box of Oreos.
Food was comforting, dependable, and soothing.
Spoonfuls of ice cream pacified my heartache, pieces of cake calmed my anxiety, and handfuls of Cheez-Its made me forget about whatever problem I was facing.
Food became my way to fill myself up and to distract from hardship.
And it became my way out of being afraid.
I used to eat over any emotion: the good, the bad and the ugly.
And as I began my healing journey through my raging battle with food, I soon realized emotions were the key. Learning how to cope with life instead of turning to food was the turning point in my path to freedom.
So HOW do you actually break free from emotional eating?
Itâs not by willpower, rigidity, or discipline. Or by âmaking yourselfâ take a bubble bath instead of eating ice cream.
To stop emotional eating, we have to learn how to LET GO of food as our comfort, our safety, and our security. We do it through a curious and gentle approach⌠Through learning the art of coping with life (stress, overwhelm, loneliness, boredom, etc) WITHOUT turning to food.
âThatâs nice,â youâre thinking. âBut HOW do I actually do that?!â
Itâs a process of UNLEARNING.
You see, you grew up learning to deal with life by turning to food.
And a huge process of stopping emotional eating is unlearning the behaviors and habits that send us to the food in the first place.
- You UNLEARN that habit of emotion âĄď¸ eating and replace it with something else.
- You UNLEARN the automatic pattern of turning to dessert when you feel stressed, overwhelmed, anxious, lonely or bored.
- You UNLEARN associating shame & failure with overeating (and cultivate a totally different way of looking at it!)
- You UNLEARN all you ever thought about emotions (including losing the fear of actually feeling them!)
And what do you learn instead?
- You learn the real reasons why you eat (this is KEY to create lasting change!)
- You learn how to actually FEEL
- You learn to stop eating as a solution to your problems when life throws a curve ball (and life always throws curve balls!)
- You learn the art of coping with life, so you confidently know you can handle anything without eating.
Hereâs what you will learn through Emotional Eating Coaching:

How I Ended Up in the World of Emotional Eating Coaching:
I spent 13 years dieting and bingeing (read my full story here) until I finally broke free from the binge-restrict cycle and stopped dieting for good.
When I first began coaching other women in 2014, I realized the âemotionsâ were one of the biggest pieces missing from other programs.
Women desperately struggled with HOW to feel their feelings and not eat over them.
Over the years, Iâve developed tools and strategies to help you move through emotions and feelings without eating. I’m a board certified health coach and a holistic nutritionist. And I combine these modalities with over 9 years of experience to help women overcome emotional eating.
I NO LONGER GO CRAZY ABOUT FOOD, OBSESS OVER IT, OR BINGE
Thank you so much for this program.
I got so much out of it and truly learned a lot. I no longer go crazy about food, obsess over it, or binge.
(I overeat from time to time, but I havenât binged in ages).
Thank you so much for all you do for us women; youâre so appreciated.

I FEEL AT PEACE WITH MY FOOD CHOICES
Before I signed up for coaching with you, I spent most of my days thinking about food.Â
I was a chronic dieter and literally spent 30 years of my life trying everything under the sun to âfixâ my food issues. It wasnât until I met you and did this work that anything REALLY changed.Â
It wasnât easy (and yes I WAS skeptical) but I wake up every day LIVING instead of being a shell of myself.
I can now show my two daughters how to have a healthy relationship with food and my body and I canât thank you enough.
Because of you, I feel at peace with my food choices and 100x more comfortable in myself.Â

I AM BECOMING A NORMAL EATER
I finally feel like one of those people who doesnât obsess over food all the time.
Sure, I have my moments (donât we all), but itâs not the focus like it once was in my life.Â
I am becoming a ânormalâ eater. I eat when Iâm hungry, and I eat what I want.
Sometimes that means junk food or too much sugar or super healthy greens smoothies, but I donât judge myself based on it. And I donât obsess over it. I move on with my life.Â
Iâve been able to uncouple my food choices = my worth as a person.Â
This is what I was hoping for, and it feels like a HUGE win.
